Norcalwest Realtor Aloha Tina Minasian has accrued a wide variety of professional and educational experiences in her working life including service to her community. Following her time in college, Aloha Tina obtained her real estate license and entered the real estate industry. Focusing on helping families seek their dream of home ownership, she built a successful career as a Real Estate Agent and Mortgage Loan Officer. She of course loves to help Veterans and their families find homes…her commitment to Veterans is unsurpassed!
She also has lived a life of service to others. Her commitment to justice for those who have been forgotten, led to the establishment of Aloha Senior Veteran Services in Roseville, CA, where she serves as a Senior Care consultant, Certified with California Dept. of Social Services Community Care Licensing. Tina has pooled her expertise in the fields of health care, financial services, advocacy, and senior services to build a solid operation to promote better care for Seniors and Veterans.
Having experienced a botched surgery and health care at its worst, Tina turned her pain into hope for others. She met a consumer reporter in 2005 who took an interest in her story and helped educate the public of the unknown programs within our health care system that contributes to medical errors. The series of stories earned CBS13 and Kurtis Ming Consumer Investigative Reporter an Emmy award. Following the completion of the series, Tina became a Volunteer Consumer Advocate for CBS13’s Call Kurtis Investigative Program. She is also an active volunteer with Consumers Union CA Safe Patient Project (Consumer Reports Magazine) and CA Consumer Watchdog as a CA Patient Advocate and was instrumental in changes within our healthcare system in terms of Public Protection.
In the past, she worked with Soroptimist International, a service organization comprised of professional women, and she cooperated with the group to raise money to help feed homeless women and children at a fundraiser luau and also has worked with the Roseville Women’s Improvement Club, Lions Club of Citrus Heights, Keaton Raphael Memorial Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Women’s Empowerment and others. In her free time, Tina travels, sings, plays the ukulele, karaoke and hula.
